 | Iphieon 'Alberto Castillo' - Pure white flowers are the crowning glory of this little Ipheion. It is hardy to z5 and performs just as well there as it does in z10. The 1” wide flowers are held 6” above the lax glaucus leaves. They will sprout in late summer and remain evergreen over winter until flowering in spring. Once flowering ends, the plants go quickly dormant for the warm summer months. They can remain dry all summer but will grow and reproduce better if given occasional water when dormant.
