STRELITZIA

Strelitzia 'Mandela's Gold' -
Beautiful clear yellow flowers are prolificly produced over a long period of time in late winter into summer. Most plants are single fans in 7 gal containers. Extra shipping charges will apply due to size and weight.

Strelitzia 'Elliott's Yellow' -
This highly desirable yellow flowered bird of paradise is hard to keep in stock. It looks like the standard bird until it blooms. The orange petals are replaced with a clear yellow. Plants can reach 5’ tall or more. It is happy in nearly any soil other than really heavy and wet. Sun or shade. It makes a great house plant as well, flowering when young. 3 year old seedling.

Strelitzia juncea -
This is one of the most unusual Birds of Paradise in the fact that there are no leaf blades on the end of the petiole. These are single fan, 2 to 4’ divisions that will clump and reach 7’ tall and wide when mature. The standard orange bird of paradise flowers are held in the foliage. Young plants resemble S. regina until about 3-5 years old when the leaf blade disappears premanently.
