Cyrtanthus brachyscyphus 'Dobo Lily' - Vibrant orange outward facing bells are produced over a long time in summer. They will form large colonies in the garden and can reseed in the right conditions but they are never invasive. Provide full sun along the coast and more shade inland. They are only hardy to z 9 but are well worth growing as a summer bulb that is dug and replanted every year as you would gladiolus.
Cyrtanthus 'Coral' -
Cyrtanthus falcatus - Beautiful plants for the drier parts of the shade garden, Cyrtanthus go dormant briefly in winter before sending up naked stems of orange and green bells. They can form large colonies over time and be quite spectacular in full bloom.
Cyrtanthus obliquus - Another large cyrtanthus with twisted silver foliage. Pendulous orange flowers with green tips on top of tall scapes. Winter growing, summer dormant, evergreen. These are flowering size bulbs.
